Eric Greenley Injured in Weaverville Car Crash on Highway 299

Minor Injury Collision Near Weaver Street

Weaverville, CA (June 18, 2022) – Eric Greenley, a 38-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 299 Friday morning.

The Action News Now published an article online reporting a collision between two cars. Preliminary investigation revealed Greenley was heading east on the highway. When the motorist approached the area near Weaver Street, he started to slow down and eventually stopped at the right shoulder of SR-299.

Officials said the crash happened when Greenley attempted to merge back into traffic. Greenley reportedly crashed into the right-front side of another vehicle traveling in the same direction.

Shortly after 9:54 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to both drivers involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, medical personnel treated Eric Greenley for minor injuries.

Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the crash on Highway 299 in Weaverville.
