Passenger Dies After Collision Near 9th Street Sunday
San Bernardino, CA (February 13, 2022) – Eric Dewayne Hamilton Jr., a 22-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 215.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported Hamilton Jr. was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on the freeway. For reasons still under investigation, the car crashed in the area near 9th Street. Additional description of the vehicle involved in the catastrophic incident have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 3:58 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a male passenger with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries. Paramedics pronounced Eric Hamilton Jr. dead at the scene.
Several factors surrounding the horrible crash remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic collision on Interstate 215 in San Bernardino.
