Rider Dies at Hospital After Collision Near Day Street
Moreno Valley, CA (July 27, 2022) – Eric Trainer, a 47-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 60, also known as Pomona Freeway.
According to My News LA, Trainer was riding a motorcycle traveling east on the freeway in Moreno Valley. Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist collided with a pickup truck in the area near Day Street. The horrible crash took place Monday around 7:30 p.m.
The article published online mentioned the rider sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident. Responding paramedics rushed the victim to Riverside University Health System Medical Center; where he later sadly died of his injuries. The coroner’s office identified the deceased as Eric Trainer.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the condition of the driver of the pickup truck.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal crash happened on Pomona (60) Freeway in Moreno Valley.
