1 Seriously Injured in Escondido Crash at Centre City Parkway and Ivy Dell Lane
ESCONDIDO, CA (February 8, 2022) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Centre City Parkway and Ivy Dell Lane in Escondido.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:39 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Escondido. They crashed at the intersection of North Centre City Parkway and Ivy Dell Lane.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a red Toyota and a silver Honda Accord. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Interstate 15.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Centre City and Ivy Dell to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Escondido crash is still under investigation.
