1 Seriously Injured in Escondido Crash at San Pasqual Road and Ryan Drive
ESCONDIDO, CA (May 15, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at San Pasqual Road and Ryan Drive in Escondido.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:09 a.m.
The report log said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Escondido. The two crashed at the intersection of San Pasqual Road and Ryan Drive.
Head-On Collision Near The Vineyard
CHP described the cars involved as a black Chevrolet Suburban and a gray Toyota Corolla. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near The Vineyard at Escondido.
Medical personnel then found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries a result of the collision. They took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of San Pasqual and Ryan to close in both directions following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Escondido crash.
