3-Vehicle Crash in Escondido on I-15 Freeway
ESCONDIDO, Calif. (May 17, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Escondido crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway near Via Rancho Parkway.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes about 7:02 a.m. on May 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Nissan Sentra, silver Toyota Tacoma, a black Chevrolet Trailblazer, a motorcycle and a Jeep collided due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded due to injuries reported, but there are no further details.
The blue Nissan was drivable following the collision.
However, other vehicles required a tow truck including the Chevrolet SUV.
Authorities are reviewing the facts and evidence in an effort to determine liability for the crash.
