Skateboard Rider Badly Injured in Eureka Hit-and-Run at Henderson Street and A Street
EUREKA, CA (February 14, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash badly injured a teenage skateboarder at Henderson Street and A Street in Eureka.
According to an article published by the KYMKEMP News, the accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the collision at about 8:47 p.m.
The incident happened on February 12 when a 15-year-old girl was riding a skateboard in Eureka. For an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the teen at intersection of Henderson Street and A Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in Henderson Center. They found the victim who ended up suffering from moderate facial and head injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital and listed them in stable condition. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver did not stop to render aid to the skateboard rider and fled the area.
They described the car as a gray 4-door sedan with a rear taillight similar to a Mercedes style light. Officers forced the corner of Henderson Street and A Street to shut down following the incident.
