Exeter Hit-and-Run Crash Near Spruce Road and List Avenue

1 Injured in Exeter Hit-and-Run Crash Near Spruce Road and List Avenue

EXETER, CA (February 9, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash near Spruce Road and List Avenue in Exeter.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:39 p.m.

CHP said for an unknown reason, a pole came off a white work truck pulling a trailer. The pole then struck the windshield of a black GMC Acadia.

The GMC then crashed on South Spruce Road, just south of East List Avenue.  Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the area of Toolville.

Medical personnel found an occupant of the Acadia who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the victim to the Sierra View Medical Center for treatment.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the truck failed to stop to help and fled the area.

Officers forced the corner of Spruce Road and List Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Exeter hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
