At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Interstate 80
Fairfield, CA (December 3, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred in the area of Interstate 80 and 680 Saturday afternoon.
Our sources indicated two or more vehicles crashed into each other in the eastbound side of I-80 near the ramp connecting onto 680 Freeway. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Deadly Traffic Accident Near 680 Freeway in Fairfield
Shortly after 4:18 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately attended to all the occupants in the cars found disabled at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities sadly pronounced one person dead. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened at Interstate 80 and 680 in Fairfield.
