1 Seriously Injured in Fallbrook Car Crash on East Mission Road
FALLBROOK, CA (January 10, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on East Mission Road in Fallbrook.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place late Monday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly after 5:30 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fallbrook. They crashed at 2515 East Mission Road near Vía Zancas.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP added that one of the cars involved caught fire due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. They took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of East Mission Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fallbrook car crash is still under investigation.
