At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident at Elder Street and Mission Road Wednesday
Fallbrook, CA (June 23, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred in the area of Elder Street and Mission Road.
Officials said two vehicles collided at the Fallbrook intersection around 8:50 a.m. Per CHP dispatch, the wreck involved a black Jeep and a silver Ford Explorer.
The force from the impact deployed the airbags of the two automobiles.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found at least one person with injuries. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma remained unknown at this time.

Meanwhile, the CHP log mentioned a motorist who played a role in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led to the hit-and-run car crash in Fallbrook.
