Pedestrian Struck, Killed at Flower and Haley Streets
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (July 23, 2021) — A fatal Bakersfield pedestrian accident happened Friday morning at Flower and Haley streets.
The pedestrian accident happened about 9:05 a.m. on July 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported firefighters responded to the scene to help a pedestrian struck by a red Ford F-150 pickup truck carrying swimming pool equipment. It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time.
Also, police believe the vehicle may have been involved in an earlier hit-and-run collision, but that was not confirmed.
