At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Avenue 336 and Road 162 Monday
Tulare County, CA (August 30, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred Monday afternoon in the area of Avenue 336 and Road 162, according to Your Central Valley.
Earlier reports indicated the catastrophic incident involved two automobiles. Per article published online, a vehicle heading west on Avenue 336 veered onto the shoulder of the roadway. Officials said the collision happened when the man overcorrected to the left; and ended up crossing into the eastbound lane of traffic.
The car eventually slammed into an oncoming SUV.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location and found the driver of the wrong-way vehicle trapped in the wreckage. Despite life-saving measures, the 38-year-old man from West Hollywood succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation.
No immediate information was available on the driver of the SUV.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly precise cause of the fatal car crash at Avenue 336 and Road 162.
