Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident El Camino Real in Redwood City
Woman, 38, Struck and Killed in Redwood City
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (March 7, 2024) – A 38-year-old woman died Saturday in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on El Camino Real in Redwood City.
The fatal traffic accident occurred at an unknown time from 1:30 a.m. to 2:45 a.m. on March 2nd, according to an article in East Bay Times and reports by the Redwood City Police Department.
A motorist reportedly hit the woman in the 700 block of El Camino Real, near Brewster Avenue, police said.
Authorities did not release a description of the suspect or vehicle involved in the fatal Redwood City accident and the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s name at this time.
Investigators are working on the case and they are asking witnesses or anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle to contact Detective Wolfe at 650-780-7609.
