Man, 45, Killed in Crash on El Cajon Blvd., in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 8, 2024) — Jairo Guillermo Lazaro-Galicia, 45, died following a pedestrian accident Thursday on El Cajon Boulevard at 50th Street in San Diego.
The deadly crash occurred at an unknown time on May 2nd, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner.
A driver in a Ford sedan was heading eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard when they struck the victim who was crossing the street. The driver stopped to call for help after the collision.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured man to a hospital, but he later died the same night at 9:37 p.m. on May 2nd, the coroner reported.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the death of Jairo Guillermo Lazaro-Galicia.
