One Dead in Three-Vehicle Collision in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2022) – A fatal Vernon Avenue crash involving three vehicles happened early Sunday at Avalon Boulevard in the South Los Angeles area.
The deadly crash occurred about 5:27 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13th on Vernon Avenue at Avalon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section.
Paramedics transported the injured driver to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
Authorities have not released the driver’s age, gender and name at this time.
Also, it’s unknown if there are other injuries from the collision.
Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department are heading up the investigation.
