Pedestrian Injured in Florence-Graham Hit-and-Run Near 92nd Street and Juniper Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 2, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash near 92nd Street and Juniper Street in Florence-Graham.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Friday evening. Officers reported the accident on October 1 at about 6:37 p.m.
According to their dispatch, a vehicle struck a 45-year-old pedestrian for an unknown reason in the Florence-Graham neighborhood.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
The driver hit the person on East 92nd Street, just west of the intersection with Juniper Street. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel then found the victim hurt and bleeding as a result of the collision. They treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the area.
Officers forced the intersection of 92nd Street and Juniper Street to close following the collision. The cause of the Florence-Graham hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
