Motorcyclist Seriously injured in Crash at Gerber and Elk Grove Florin Roads
FLORIN, CA (March 7, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Gerber Road and Elk Grove Florin Road in Florin.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:43 p.m.
CHP said a white Chevrolet Equinox and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Gerber and Elk Grove Florin roads.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Walmart Supercenter. They found the motorcyclist down in the roadway as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Gerber and Elk Grove Florin roads to shut down after the wreck.
