1 Killed in Fontana Crash at Whittram and Beech Avenues
FONTANA, CA (March 4, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person at Whittram and Beech avenues in Fontana.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck on March 4 at around 7:30 p.m.
The incident happened when two cars collided for an unknown reason in the city of Fontana. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of Whittram and Beech avenues.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a red Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a gray Honda sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Whittram and Beech avenues to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Fontana crash is still under investigation.
