1 Injured in Forestville Hit-and-Run Crash at Old River and Martinelli Roads
FORESTVILLE, CA (February 9, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Old River Road and Martinelli Road in Forestville.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Saturday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:54 p.m.
The incident happened on February 5 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Forestville. They crashed at the intersection of Old River and Martinelli roads.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Steelhead Beach. They found one individual who sustained complained of pain to their neck as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Old River and Martinelli roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Forestville hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
