Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Traffic Collision on Nimitz (880) Freeway Friday
Fremont, CA (May 21, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered major trauma following a road accident on Interstate 880, also known as Nimitz Freeway, Friday evening.
Multi-Vehicle Crash in Fremont, May 21
The California Highway Patrol group reported the wreck involved a motorcyclist, and two others cars. Officials briefly identified the vehicles found at the scene as a black Audi R8, and a black BMW.
CHP logged the incident at about 6:35 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the rider lying on the ground. The motorcyclist sustained major injuries that caused bleeding from his face.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the occupants of the Audi and the BMW involved in the crash.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the car and motorcycle accident in Fremont happened.
