Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at the Sullivan Underpass
Fremont, CA (May 21, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Mission Boulevard Saturday morning, the NBC News reported.
Our sources indicated a person attempted to cross Mission Boulevard in the area near the Sullivan Underpass. While walking on the roadway, an oncoming vehicle failed to avoid and struck the pedestrian. The horrible crash took place at about 12:15 a.m.
Pedestrian Killed in Fremont Accident
When emergency crews arrived, they found the victim lying lifeless on the ground. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed after the collision; and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident on Mission Boulevard in Fremont.
