At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision Near Washington Boulevard Friday
Fremont, CA (February 20, 2022) – A suspected hit-and-run car cash occurred on the Interstate 680 Freeway on February 18, Friday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two or more vehicles collided in the northbound side of the freeway in Fremont. Officials mentioned the accident took place in the area near Washington Boulevard offramp.
Shortly after 7:05 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the wreck. After the medical evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, the CHP log mentioned one motorist involved in the mishap fled the scene before police arrived. Given that, detectives continue to investigate the identity of the hit-and-run suspect in the car cash on Interstate 680 in Fremont.
