Bicycle Rider Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash Near Cornelia and Brown

FRESNO, CA (March 7, 2023) – A bicycle rider was seriously injured after a crash near Cornelia and Brown avenues in Fresno.
According to an article published by the FOX 26 News, the accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the wreck on March 7 shortly before 8:30 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in northwest Fresno. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Cornelia and Brown avenues.
Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle
Police said the two collided near Clinton Avenue. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the bicyclist hurt.
The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the cyclist to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police added that the driver stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced the area of Cornelia and Brown avenues to shut down after the wreck. The cause of the Fresno bicycle crash is still under investigation.
