At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at State Route Highway 180 and 41 Saturday
Fresno, CA (October 3, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of at State Route Highway 180 and 41 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Initial records indicated a two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of Highway 180 in Fresno. Authorities described the cars found at the scene as a gray Mercedes-Benz GLK and a silver GMC SUV.
Child Possibly Injured in Fresno Car Accident, October 2
Shortly after 12:35 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders reportedly found a party, believed to be an occupant from the Mercedes, holding a child. The CHP log mentioned the child was crying.
Medical personnel checked the condition of the child, and all other people involved in the wreck. Officials said one victim sustained cuts and bruises to their left arm. An ambulance reportedly transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident on State Route Highway 180 happened.
