At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Sequoia Kings Canyon Freeway Saturday
Fresno, CA (September 11, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on State Route 180, also known as Sequoia Kings Canyon Freeway.
Our sources indicated a vehicle rolled down the embankment along the highway in Fresno. The collision took place near the Temperance Avenue onramp.
CHP logged the incident shortly after 9:20 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a flipped on its roof and disabled in the westbound side of the Sequoia Kings Canyon Freeway. Responding firefighters worked extensively to pull out parties trapped in the wreckage.

Officials later confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the incident. The name of victim, and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the car accident on State Route 180 have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened.
