Woman Hospitalized After Fiery Collision at Belmont and Fulton
Fresno, CA (June 3, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Belmont Avenue and Fulton Street.
The ABC30 News reported two vehicles collided at the intersection in central Fresno early Friday. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Preliminary investigation revealed a motorist heading east on east on Belmont Avenue crashed into another driver going south on Fulton Street. The accident took place around 1 a.m. Friday.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Responding firefighters worked extensively to put out the fire.
At Least 1 Badly Injured in Fresno Car Accident
The article published online mentioned rescue teams extricated a female party from the car that caught fire. After the extrication process, paramedics transported the patient to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car crash at Belmont Avenue and Fulton Street.
