3 Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash at Hamilton and Maple Avenues
FRESNO, CA (April 15, 2023) – Several were seriously injured after a crash at Hamilton and Maple avenues in Fresno.
According to an article published by The Fresno Bee, the accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck on April 15 at about 7:03 p.m.
The incident happened when a truck was going south on Maple Avenue, approaching Hamilton Avenue, in Fresno. For an unknown reason, the vehicle collided with a minivan in the intersection.
2 Vehicles Collide
Police said a woman and two juveniles riding the van became ejected in the process. The victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Paramedics soon arrived at the scene and rushed all three patients to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
A fourth person in the minivan and the two occupants of the truck ended up unharmed. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Hamilton and Maple avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
