1 injured in Fresno Crash at Maple and Church Avenues
FRESNO, CA (November 6, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Maple Avenue and Church Avenue in Fresno.
According to an article published by the ABC 30 News, the accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before midnight.
Fresno police said two vehicles collided in the city on November 5. The incident happened when a driver ran a red light at the intersection of Maple and Church avenues and struck the other car.
Driver Runs Red Light, Hits Another Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one motorist hurt. The person sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Maple and Church avenues to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
