3 Children Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Accident at North Dickenson and West Barstow Avenue Wednesday
Fresno, CA (April 21, 2021) – Three children suffered injuries following a car crash in the area of North Dickenson and West Barstow Avenue Wednesday evening, the Fresno Bee reported.
Our sources indicated two vehicles collided at the rural Fresno County intersection. Officials identified the cars found at the scene as a Toyota Camry an a GMC truck.
Per local news, the driver of the Toyota stopped at Dickenson. For reasons still unclear, the Toyota pulled out and drove into the path of a GMC truck traveling eastbound on Barstow.

Responding emergency teams found three children in the backseat of the Toyota. Authorities briefly identified the juveniles as elementary school students. According to the article published online, one child sustained serious injuries. Due to their condition, an air ambulance transported the juvenile patient to Community Regional Medical Center. Meanwhile, paramedics transferred by ground ambulance the other two children with moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, officers mentioned both the driver of the Toyota and the GMC truck appeared unharmed after the wreck.
