4 Injured in Fresno County Crash at Fowler and Conejo Avenues
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 13, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash at Fowler and Conejo avenues in Fresno County.
According to the FOX 26 News and Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4 p.m. near Kingsburg.
The incident began when a Ford F-150 pickup truck was approaching the area of Fowler and Conejo avenues in Fresno County.
The man driving the Ford thought the intersection was a four-way stop and then made a turn. In the process, the pickup collided with a GMC Safari.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the GMC rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Four of the eight occupants of the Safari ended up hurt as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel took the four patients to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Paramedics rushed one of them to the Community Regional Medical Center for head pain.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Fowler and Conejo avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
