3 Injured in Fresno County Crash Near Jensen and DeWolf avenues
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 4, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash near DeWolf and Jensen avenues in Fresno County.
According to the FOX 26 News and Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 6.20 p.m.
The incident began when a grey sedan was going south on DeWolf Avenue, approaching Jensen Avenue, in Fresno County. For an unknown reason, the car failed to stop at the intersection.
The vehicle continued westbound on Jensen and slammed into a white sedan. The California Highway Patrol said a third car headed west struck the first two sedans.
Multiple Cars Collide
After some time, a fourth vehicle approached and collided with the three cars. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of three people hurt.
A passenger and the two occupants from the initial collision sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Medical personnel took them to the hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of DeWolf and Jensen avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
