Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Fresno County Crash at Marks and Adams Avenues
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 20, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a DUI crash near Marks and Adams avenues in Fresno County.
According to an article published by Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 7 p.m.
A pickup truck slammed into the motorcycle rider in the Fresno County. The two crashed near the intersection of South Marks and West Adams avenues.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist had the right of way at the time. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene.
Motorcycle Rider Hit by Drunk Driver
Medical personnel found the victim who sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. They soon rushed the wounded party to an area hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP determined that the driver of the pickup was under the influence of alcohol when they hit the rider.
They arrested the suspect on felony DUI charges and was double the legal limit. Officers forced the area of Marks and Adams avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The Fresno County DUI crash is still under investigation.
