Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash at Belmont and First
Fresno, CA (July 17, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Belmont Avenue and First Street.
According to ABC News, a vehicle struck a male party at the intersection in central Fresno Saturday evening. The horrible crash took place just before midnight.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Central Fresno
The article published online mentioned the pedestrian was found lying in the roadway. When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately attended to the victim. Paramedics sadly pronounced the pedestrian dead. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Officials later confirmed the driver involved in the violent incident fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
