At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Highway 99 and Highway 180 Sunday
Fresno, CA (October 24, 2021) – A deadly car crash occurred in the area of Highway 99 and Highway 180 Sunday morning, according to Your Central Valley.
Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided at the intersection in Fresno County. Officials believed the force from the impact caused the SUV to veer off the roadway. The SUV drove down the side of the highway, and eventually overturned.
Authorities said the driver of the SUV was ejected during the crash. Per article published online, the driver landed in a lane of the highway. Oncoming vehicles failed to avoid and hit the body on the roadway.

Shortly after 4 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Despite life-saving measures, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Further investigation on the car crash on Highway 99 is ongoing.
