1 Killed,1 Injured in Collision Near Tenaya Way
Fresno, CA (July 30, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Fruit Avenue Friday evening.
Deadly Head-On Crash on Fruit Avenue in Fresno
According to the Fresno Bee News, two vehicles crashed into each other in the area near Tenaya Way. Earlier reports indicated a black Scion was heading south on Fruit; while a black Nissan Altima was heading north on Fruit. For reasons still unclear, the driver of the Scion veered into the opposite lane and drove into the path of the Altima. Officials confirmed the two cars crashed head-on into each other in the area near Tenaya Way.
Emergency crews responded to the location and rendered aid to all parties involved. After the evaluation, authorities sadly pronounced the driver of the Scion dead. Meanwhile, the driver of the Altima reportedly sustained injuries in the collision. Medical personnel transported the patient to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
Personal information on the fatal victim, and the injured parties remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Fruit Avenue in Fresno.
