1 Hospitalized, Juvenile Possibly Hurt in Traffic Collision on Highway 180 Onramp Monday
Fresno, CA (July 5, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on Highway 180 onramp at Peach Avenue, the ABC30 News reported.
Officials said two vehicles collided on the ramp just after midnight. Preliminary investigation revealed a driver trying to get onto the highway crashed into a Chevy Tahoe that was heading south on Peach Avenue.
The force from the impact caused the Chevy to burst into flames. Witnesses reportedly saw the driver of the Chevy toss fireworks; and a pipe bomb out of the vehicle following the car fire.

Shortly after the incident, emergency teams arrived at the location and found a juvenile passenger in the Chevy. Paramedics checked the condition of the minor, but their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle apparently sustained injuries from the incident. An ambulance transported the patient to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the fiery car crash on Highway 180 in Fresno happened.
