Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Van Ness Avenue Onramp Near State Route 180 Wednesday
Fresno, CA (April 9, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash on Van Ness Avenue onramp near eastbound State Route 180.
On April 7, Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol group reported an accident involving a pedestrian. Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual on Van Ness Avenue onramp in Fresno.
The CHP dispatch confirmed the pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the collision. However, at the moment, the name of the victim and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

Meanwhile, responding emergency crews did not locate the vehicle at the scene. For this reason, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the incident as a hit-and-run.
Authorities continue to identify and locate the suspect in the pedestrian accident in Fresno.
