Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash on Highway 41 Near Friant Road
FRESNO, CA (November 21, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 41 near Friant Road in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place last month. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident on October 21 at about 4:07 p.m.
The incident happened when the rider of a Vespa motorcycle and a red sedan collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on northbound Highway 41 in the city of Fresno.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, north of Friant Road. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes Highway 41 to shut down near Friant following the wreck. They did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped after the collision.
The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
