Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash on Peach Avenue Near Washington
FRESNO, CA (February 15, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a pedestrian near Peach Avenue and Washington Avenue in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol the accident took place on Tuesday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at about 9:11 a.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian and her dogs in Fresno. The driver hit them on North Peach Avenue, just south of East Washington Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the Roosevelt neighborhood. They found the person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and her condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victims. Officers forced a stretch of Peach Avenue to shut down near Washington following the incident.
The cause of the Fresno pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
