Pedestrian Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run at Peach Avenue and Kings Canyon Road
FRESNO, CA (June 14, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Peach Avenue and Kings Canyon Road in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Monday evening. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the incident at about 6:06 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Fresno. The driver hit him at the intersection of South Peach Avenue and East Kings Canyon Road.
Victim Hit by Vehicle Near High School
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Sunnyside High School. They found the victim left wounded in the roadway as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the crash. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. They shut down the intersection of Peach and Kings Canyon following the Fresno hit-and-run crash.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
