Fullerton crash Harbor La Entrada
1 Killed, 3 Injured in Fullerton Crash at Harbor Boulevard and La Entrada Place
FULLERTON, CA (October 23, 2022) – A crash at Harbor Boulevard and La Entrada Place killed one person and injured several others in Fullerton.
According to The Orange County Register and KTLA News, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 2:45 p.m.
The incident happened when a dark gray Kia Forte was traveling at high rate of speed north on Harbor Boulevard, approaching La Entrada Place, in Fullerton.
At the same time, a Volkswagen Passat was making a turn east onto La Entrada. Both cars slammed into a wall on the northeast corner of the intersection.
Speeding Driver Hits Another Car
The Kia and the Volkswagen spun out of control and came to rest north of the intersection near a bus bench. A red Dodge Neon veered to avoid the collision but spun out of control.
Police said the Dodge stopped a block away at Harbor Boulevard and Hermosa Drive. Paramedics soon arrived and pronounced the speeding motorist, a 29-year-old man, dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Passat and an occupant of the Neon sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics rushed them to hospitals for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Harbor and La Entrada to shut down for a time following the wreck.
