Fulton hit-and-run River Hart
1 Injured in Fulton Hit-and-Run Crash at River Road and Hart Lane
FULTON, CA (January 11, 2022) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at River Road and Hart Lane in Fulton.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Tuesday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 7:08 p.m.
The incident happened when at least two vehicles collided in Fulton. For an unknown reason, they crashed at the intersection of River Road and Hart Lane.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a black Hyundai SUV with rear-end damage and a Toyota RAV 4. One of them plowed into a vineyard while the other caught fire upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Fulton Road. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the Toyota did not stop to help and then fled the area. Officers forced the corner of River and Hart to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fulton hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
