1 Killed in Collision Near SR-99
Galt, CA (June 3, 2023) – A deadly traffic accident occurred on C Street Saturday, June 3, the ABC10 and FOX40 News reported.
Our sources indicated a semi-truck and a sedan crashed into each other on C Street in Galt. Preliminary investigation revealed the sedan drove over an over cross onto Highway 99 and ended up colliding with the semi truck driving in the freeway. Due to the force from the impact, the truck overturned. Officials added at least one other vehicle got involved in the wreck.
Deadly Traffic Accident on C Street in Galt
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the driver of the sedan unconscious. Medical personnel performed life-saving efforts to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Investigators assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. At this time, they continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened on C Street in Galt.
