Passenger Killed in Car Accident on Highway 99 Sunday
Galt, CA (May 2, 2021) – A 29-year-old woman died following a suspected DUI car crash on Highway 99 Sunday, the CBS News reported.
Our sources indicated the female from Stockton was a passenger in a vehicle traveling south on Highway 99. When the car approached the junction at Twin Cities Road, the driver made a turning movement toward the left side of the traffic lanes. The vehicle then slammed into a wood post metal guardrail in the center median. Due to the impact, the car overturned on the dirt shoulder of Highway 99.
According to the article published online, the force from the impact ejected the female passenger from the vehicle. Responding paramedics found the woman lying off the roadway and unconscious. Medical personnel reportedly performed life-saving measures to the victims but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, investigators conducted a DUI check on the driver. After receiving the resulted, police arrested the man on charges of manslaughter and a DUI.
