At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Haster Street Thursday
Garden Grove, CA (December 21, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route Highway 22.
On December 16, two vehicles collided in the westbound side of Garden Grove (22) Freeway near Haster Street. CHP logged the incident at about 12:27 p.m.
Responding emergency crews found a black Kia Sorrento at the scene. When medical personnel arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all the occupants in the Kia. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Officers mentioned one motorist fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the injury car crash on State Route 22 in Garden Grove.
