Injury Traffic Collision on Highway 199 Monday
Gasquet, CA (September 14, 2021) – A car crash that occurred on U.S. Route Highway 199 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol log.
Our sources indicated at least two vehicles collided on Highway 199 on September 13, Monday. The force from the impact caused one car to overturn in the area near Pioneer Road in Gasquet. At this time, the description of the automobiles involved in the crash remained unknown.
Shortly after 6:55 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the site. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. The CHP dispatch confirmed one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.

Meanwhile, the accident report mentioned authorities are investigating the case as a hit-and-run. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
Detectives continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the car crash in Gasquet happened.
