Gene Dalzell, 53, Injured in Rollover Crash Near State Route 43 Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (June 17, 2021) – Gene Dalzell, a 53-year-old man, suffered injuries following a car accident on Interstate 5 on June 16, Wednesday.
The Modesto Bee News reported Gene Dalzell and three other male parties were traveling in a GMC heading north on I-5 Freeway. When the vehicle approached the area near State Route 43, the right rear tire of GMC blew out.
Our sources indicated the 51-year-old male driver lost control of the GMC, causing it to overturn. The car rolled over multiple times before coming to a rest.

According to the article published online, the driver and a left rear passenger both sadly died as a result of the collision.
Officials said two passengers, including Gene Dalzell, survived the crash with minor to major injuries. Per local news source, Gene Dalzell, of Manteca, escaped death possibly because he was wearing a seatbelt.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
