George King, 75, Killed in Hesperia Crash Near E Avenue and Hercules Street
HESPERIA, CA (September 30, 2022) – George King was killed after a car crash near E Avenue and Hercules Street in Hesperia.
The coroner’s office identified the 75-year-old Hesperia man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place earlier this month.
The incident happened when George King was riding as a passenger in a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer going north on E Avenue in Hesperia. A 2016 Kia Soul was traveling behind at the time.
For an unknown reason, the Kia slammed into the rear of the Chevrolet. Deputies said the two cars crashed near the intersection.
1 Injured in Wreck
The Blazer then rolled over due to the impact of the collision. The Victor Valley News wrote that the accident occurred on September 9 at about 9:12 p.m.
George King died at the scene of the crash. The 20-year-old Hesperia man driving the Chevrolet ended up unharmed as a result of the wreck.
The driver of the Soul, a 24-year-old Apple Valley man, survived the incident with minor injuries. Paramedics soon rushed him to a hospital for treatment.
