Bicyclist Fatally Struck by DUI Suspect at Oceanside Boulevard and Beverly Glen Drive
Oceanside, CA (June 2, 2021) – Gerardo Perez died following a traffic accident in the area of Oceanside Boulevard and Beverly Glen Drive on May 22, Wednesday.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported Gerardo Perez was riding a bicycle traveling at an unknown direction near the Oceanside intersection.
According to the article published online, an allegedly intoxicated driver struck the cyclist at the crossing of Oceanside Boulevard and Beverly Glen Drive. The horrible crash took place at about 1:50 a.m.

Responding medical personnel found the victim lying unconscious on the roadway. Shortly after the incident, authorities confirmed Gerardo Perez sadly died as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators believed the driver involved in the catastrophic incident was drunk at the time of the crash. The results of the tests conducted on the suspect remained undisclosed.
Further investigation on the deadly bicycle accident in Oceanside is underway.
